Once you have completed the online registration form you can use your own passwords for faster access.
Please read all the instructions on each page, you will not be able to proceed if there are any details missing.
NOTE – pay particular attention to the emergency contact section, don’t enter your own details again as we will require two contacts, yours (when setting up the account) will automatically become the first.
You can book sessions yourself which will roll over each month with the 4-week cancellation requirement by emailing info@scallywagskids.co.uk.
A registration fee of £10 will be added to your account.
Contracted sessions (or rolling contracts) are where you have specific sessions booked each week. Your child’s space is reserved and a fee is generated each month by invoice. These require a £100 (non-refundable) deposit to secure the booking, this will be credited to your first invoice.
Monthly childcare invoices will still be sent out in advance of the preceding month, on the 25th, as we ask for all payments to be made in advance of your childcare.
Adhoc sessions are for last minute or unplanned childcare. These places are not guaranteed and will depend on daily availability.
You will be able to access all your childcare bookings, payments and statements through your online account at any time.
helpful advice
Here is some information you may find useful.
We have found from experience that a number of short settling in periods in advance of a child starting can benefit both children & Parents/carers.
On enrolment the Manager will discuss with parents/carers various options for the settling in period and any additional or specific needs for the child.
Reception aged children will be given a key person who’s role is to build up relationships with yourself and your child and also make them feel safe and cared for.
Parents/carers can feel reassured that if their child shows any undue distress, they will be advised and a number of alternative settling approaches will be suggested.
We aim to provide a range of healthy food and drinks and make breakfast & snack time a social time.
Please do not send in food for your child, unless they have a specific dietary requirement this must be discussed with the Manager.
Seasonal menus are available for you to browse on the parent/carer information board at the club.
If your child has any allergies, dietary requirements or needs to take medication, please provide this information on their registration form and discuss it in more detail with the Manager if necessary.
Parents must inform us asap if your child has any known medical condition or health problem, or has been in contact with infectious diseases.
Children must not be brought to the club if unwell. Your child’s welfare is our main concern and in the interests of the remaining children, if in the opinion of the staff a child is ill, then the parent/carer will be contacted to collect their child as soon as possible. The staff must be happy that the child is fully recovered before he/she is allowed to return. Our policy of 48 hours absent from club will apply following any symptoms of sickness/diarrhoea.
We work together to keep all of the children in our care safe and free from harm. All of our staff has enhanced clearance from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS). All Staff receive child protection and safeguarding training.
Electronic devices with cameras on,i.e. mobile phones are NOT allowed to be used/visible when you’re in the building where children are present.
When entering or leaving the building please do not let any other parents into the building unless a staff member tells you to.
All injuries are recorded in on your COB (Childcare Online Booking) online account and will identify the accident, the injury, what treatment was carried out and the staff member dealing with it.
All forms will be emailed directly to you so you are aware of an incident that has occurred.
Emphasis is placed on having fun, although we do use guidelines. We are sure that you will agree that there should be certain standards of behaviour expected from the chldren.
At the beginning of each year we agree with the children what is, and is not, acceptable behaviour.
In order to deliver a quality service it is important that children do not behave in an acceptable manner and disrupt other children. At no time will misbehaviour, bullying, physical or verbal aggression towards other children or staff be allowed.
Positive behaviour is encouraged and praised daily.
We will not tolerate personal abuse towards adults or children.
We may take photographs of the children taking part in activities for our use only but only if your permission has been recorded on our COB online booking system.
Our staff actively promotes equality and diversity for all children and adults.
We positively support racial, gender and physical equality. We try to ensure that the specific needs of all children are met and that they are presented with positive images of people from all walks of life.
Our Polices and Procedures are available for you to view at any time.
We appreciate your comments & compliments, as we always strive to provide the best possible service to all of our customers. Feedback forms are available please ask the manager.
Should you be unhappy with our service please email the Manager info@scallywagskids.co.uk who will endeavour to resolve your complaint.
